What we collect
When you use ClassMatch, we collect information you provide during the search process: your child's age, preferred subjects, location, and optionally your name and WhatsApp number. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used) through cookies and analytics to improve the service.
How we use it
Your search data is used solely to match you with relevant tuition and enrichment centres. Contact information is only shared with centres you choose to connect with via WhatsApp. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised to improve our matching algorithm and user experience.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (admin accounts only) and optional analytics cookies to understand how parents use ClassMatch. You can accept or decline analytics cookies via the consent banner. Declining will not affect the core functionality of the service.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Vercel. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Search results are cached temporarily in your browser session and are not accessible to others.
Your rights under PDPA
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@classmatch.my.
Children's data
ClassMatch is used by parents on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. The child's age and school type are provided by the parent and are used solely for matching purposes.
